On Wednesday, Feb. 13, Wiscasset Police Officer Geoffrey Davis responded to a domestic disturbance at 1069 Gardiner Road in Wiscasset.

A subsequent investigation revealed that a 15-year-old female had been assaulted by her father. The father was identified as Clifton Hannah Jr., 47, of Wiscasset.  Hannah allegedly assaulted his daughter after an argument.  

The child appeared to have a broken nose and was treated by Wiscasset Ambulance personnel and was subsequently transported to Midcoast Hospital for additional treatment.

Clifton Hannah was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault and was transported to Two Bridges Regional Jail. He will be there pending his arraignment on this charge.
