Santa will be escorted to the Common atop of one of the Boothbay Fire Department's finest trucks ... it’s tradition!
Santa will stay until every child has shared his or her Christmas wish in the gazebo at the Boothbay Common beginning at 6 p.m.
Hot chocolate will be provided to help keep those caroling “pipes” warmed up.
Trivia: What is Santa's favorite song? Here's a clue: “You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout I'm telling you why … ” Be ready to start the singing with this tune ...
Can’t make this visit? Santa returns, this time in Boothbay Harbor - right down the road a-piece - on Dec. 3!
The Festival of Trees, sponsored by the Boothbay Region Garden Club, is set to take center stage at the Opera House at Boothbay Harbor Dec. 2-4, with a special opening reception on Thursday, Dec. 1.
Each year the Garden Club selects a theme for the event. This year it’s “Home For the Holidays!” Local merchants, organizations and groups decorate and donate trees of all shapes, sizes and colors for the silent auction. All funds raised are used to support the Garden Clubs many beautification projects throughout the year.
Don’t miss the hand-crafted items, baked goods, and holiday gift ideas. Times of operation vary daily. Call 207-633-3642 for more information.
