A cheery Christmas from the Garden Club

Christmas will be a little cheerier for many in Wiscasset due to the efforts of the Garden Club of Wiscasset. On Thursday, Dec. 6, club members met to make holiday arrangements for area residents who may be ill or shut-in as well as to decorate the library and municipal building. Club members donated all of the greens and berries and the completed baskets were delivered that afternoon.
The next meeting of the garden club will be on January 10 at 12:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Wiscasset. The featured speaker will be Nick Barth of Barth Daylilies whose topic is “Growing Daylilies in Maine.” Guests are always welcome to join us.
