Members of the Garden Club of Wiscasset are very busy getting ready for their annual plant sale, which will be held Saturday, May 11at the Municipal Building in Wiscasset from 8 a.m. until noon.

This is a tremendous opportunity to purchase hardy perennials and shrubs proven to thrive in Maine. Most of the plants are dug from members’ gardens and donated to the sale. In addition to plants, there will be gardening gloves, gardening books, calendars, tools, and a delicious array of baked goods for sale. Proceeds from the sale are used to fund scholarships and camperships for area students as well as civic beautification projects for the city of Wiscasset. Come early for best selection.
