Garden Club of Wiscasset meets April 6
The next meeting of the Garden Club of Wiscasset will be April 6 in Fellowship Hall of First Congregational Church, 28 High St., Wiscasset. There is a brief business meeting at 12:30 p.m., followed by our program at 1 p.m.
Melanie Rose Scofield of Earthwalk School of Herbal Traditions in Rockport will discuss “Herbal Bitters for Digestive Health.” Bitter herbs go back centuries as a path to natural healing. Bitters can help with many digestive issues and also improve the ability of the body to absorb nutrients, reduce sugar cravings and aid in regulating blood sugar.
Scofield is an herbalist, health educator and the director and founder of Earthwalk School of Herbal Traditions, which opened in 2015. For more information, visit earthwalkherbalschool.com
Refreshments follow the program, which is free and open to the public.
