Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 2 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 175 calls for service for the period of Dec. 12 to Dec. 19. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 10,686 calls for service.
Summonses
Austin J. Parsons, 30, of Damariscotta was issued a summons Dec. 15 for Allowing Dog to be at Large, on Back Meadow Road, Damariscotta, by Animal Control Officer Allen Oliver.
Adam D. Giles, 46, of Boothbay Harbor was issued a summons Dec. 17 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, on Oak Street, Boothbay Harbor, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Arrests
Jeremiah E. Lucas, 26, of Edgecomb was arrested Dec. 15 for Operating after Habitual Offender Revocation- prior; Eluding an Officer; Violating Condition of Release; Refusing to Submit to Arrest or Detention and Attaching False Plates, on Eddy Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Jenifer Whitney, 44, of Topsham was arrested Dec. 17 for Operating under the Influence, on High Street, Wiscasset, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.
Accidents
On Dec. 12, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Mary D. Grant, 59, of Windsor. Ms. Grant was operating her 2019 Toyota RAV4 southbound when a deer ran out in front of her vehicle and was struck, causing front driver’s side quarter, front and driver’s side and windshield to be damaged. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 12, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Jeremy A. Blackman, 31, of Boothbay. Mr. Blackman was operating his 2019 Dodge when he approached the intersection of Middle Road and Gardiner Road and encountered icy road conditions. As a result, his vehicle skidded through the intersection, crossed the road and struck the northbound curb. His vehicle then continued over the curb and onto a lawn, causing damage to the lawn. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 14, an accident occurred on Pemaquid Harbor Road in Bristol involving Doris E. Masterson, 74, of Pemaquid. Ms. Masterson was operating her 2018 Honda Pilot southbound when she stated she fell asleep and struck a mailbox. As a result, the mailbox post was pulled out of the ground and her vehicle sustained front-end damage. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.
