he Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 172 calls for service for the period of Oct. 17 and Oct. 24. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 9,172 calls for service.
Summonses
Nicole Hill, 41, of Chelsea was issued a summons Oct. 17 for Attaching False Plates, on Augusta Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Joshua B. Cote, 26, of Whitefield was issued a summons Oct. 17 for Operating with Suspended Registration, on Mills Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Zachary J. Hillock, 30, of Greene was issued a summons Oct. 19 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, on Ocean Point Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Anthony P. Trottier, 33, of Auburn was issued a summons Oct. 19 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, on Burleigh Hill Road, Boothbay, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Arrests
Dakota J. Rumery, 25, of Jefferson was arrested Oct. 18 for Violating Condition of Release and Domestic Violence Criminal Threatening, on Augusta Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Samuel Alexander, who was assisted by Sgt. Kevin Dennison and Detective Matthew Ryan.
Pamela C. Miller, 69, of Nobleboro was arrested Oct. 19 for Domestic Violence Assault, on East Pond Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers.
Mariann Gamage, 55, of Rockland was arrested Oct. 20 for Operating under the Influence, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Owen Beattie.
Charles R. Johnson, 61, of Wiscasset was arrested Oct. 20 for Violating a Protective Order, on Gardiner Road, Wiscasset, by Deputy Kasey Doyle.
Kara E. Legage, 31, of Camden was arrested Oct. 20 for Violating Condition of Release, on Wavus Point Road, Jefferson, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Jonathan G. Paul, 41, of Waldoboro was arrested Oct. 23 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Medomak Road, Bremen, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Accidents
On Oct. 17, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving Breanna M. McNear, 24, of Boothbay and Eilif Johanssen, 74, of Boothbay Harbor. Mr. Johanssen was operating his 2010 Ford Fusion northbound on Wiscasset Road and Ms. McNear, who was operating her 2004 Toyota Highlander, was turning south onto Wiscasset Road from the Hardwick Road. Ms. McNair failed to yield the right of way to Johanssen and the vehicles collided in the intersection. Deputy Scott Solorzano was the investigating officer.
On Oct. 17, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Tayler K. Giacomaro, 36, of Boothbay. Ms. Giacomaro was operating her 2012 Jeep Liberty northbound when a deer ran into the roadway. Giacomaro attempted to avoid the deer and as a result, her vehicle left the roadway on the opposite side, went down an embankment and struck a group of trees, damaging the passenger front corner. Deputy Scott Solorzano was the investigating officer.
On Oct. 21, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Kurtis Rome-Bertrand, 29, of South Thomaston. Mr. Rome-Bertrand was operating his 2017 Hyundai Sonata southbound in heavy rain, when his vehicle hydroplaned and spun out of control. As a result, his vehicle went off the road and struck a rock embankment, before coming to rest on its driver’s side. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
