Tai Chi classes in Bristol
Bubbling Spring Tai Chi School in Bristol is offering an 8 week session for beginners. Tai Chi is a sequence of gentle and rhythmic movements that ease tension and improve balance, helping to prevent falls as well as lower blood pressure and heart rate.
Instructor Jody Telfair-Richards has taught Tai Chi for 20 years, including 13 years at Spectrum Generations. Her approach focuses on practicing this ancient art as a movement meditation and using the mind to help one relax, soften the joints and improve breathing.
Due to Covid-19 classes will be limited to 8 students. Social distancing and masks will be required. Classes will begin on Wednesday Oct. 21 at 4:30 p.m. or Thursday Oct. 22 at 9:30 a.m. All classes are one hour long.
