UPDATE: The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has reported via a Facebook post that John Edwards has been found safe. The LCSO thanked everyone for helping to find him.

Original post: Police in Maine are looking for an elderly Boothbay man​ who has not been seen since early Saturday morning. A Silver Alert has been issued for John F. Edwards, 75, who is believed to be driving his white 2008 Toyota Highlander with Maine licence plate 4446GJ.

Edwards was reporting missing by his wife and is believed to have left his Tavenner Road home around 4 a.m. Saturday. He is 6'2" tall, weighs 220 and is bald. He also has early signs on dementia. Anyone seeing Edwards or his SUV is asked to call 911.
