Dear Editor:

* Send a strong statement of distaste for being coerced by money;

* Send a strong statement of caring about the future of our downtown and businesses;

* Send a strong statement of wanting safe and ADA compliant improvements made to the downtown streets and sidewalks;

* Send a strong statement of belief in safe foot traffic and close satellite parking and its importance in a successful downtown; and,

* Send a strong statement that taxpayer (town) money be spent for positive projects and not on wasteful lawsuits (i.e. lower property taxes, waterfront projects, access to White's Island, to name a few)

Please vote no on April 17 at the Wiscasset Community Center. Let’s stop this wasteful lawsuit and start the renovation. Let's move Wiscasset forward!
