Davis arraigned Dec. 10 for allegedly threatening cyclist
Daniel Davis, 38, of Wiscasset was arraigned Dec. 10 for Criminal Threatening with a Dangerous Weapon, Class C; Terrorizing, Class D; Failure to Register a Vehicle, Class E; and Operating While License Suspended or Revoked, Class E, according to court records.
He had been expected to be arraigned on Oct. 11, but the case was continued.
The case now goes to a dispositional conference. The date was not available by press time.
The charges stem from an incident July 22 when Davis allegedly got into an altercation with bicyclist Anthony Vitti on Lowelltown Road in Wiscasset. According to police, Vitti had spoken to Davis about following him too closely, and Davis allegedly pulled a pellet gun and pointed it at Vitti. Vitti captured the incident on his GoPro camera.
