Winter Tree ID Walk
Tuesday, Jan. 23
Join a naturalist from the Boothbay Region Land Trust (BRLT) from 10-11 a.m. to learn some tricks used to identify common trees in winter, including bark, buds, twigs, branching patterns, and even smell. The group will meet at the parking lot kiosk and head out for a short easy one-mile walk through the forests of Oak Point Farm. Winter trail conditions are present so sturdy boots with good traction are recommended. Free! Registration required. Go to https://bbrlt.org/events or call Tracey at 207-633-4818.
