Vote for Wayne Farrin
Dear Editor:
I had the pleasure of meeting Wayne Farrin on two occasions this past week, and strongly support his candidacy for Maine House District 47, representing Wiscasset, Alna, Jefferson and Whitefield.
Wayne has lived in Lincoln County most of his life, and has consistently contributed to our community in both working and volunteer roles. He has knowledge of the fishing industry, housing and real estate, and small business ownership for his working life. He has been a Budget Committee member and chair, YMCA Board Member, and local Chamber of Commerce member in addition to supporting local youth sports as a coach. Wayne has shown a
commitment to being a consistent contributing community member that can be relied on for common sense solutions and solid follow through. He is enthusiastic about running for this House Seat where he can take his any skills and apply them to the broader, more complex problems facing our state. His position as State Representative will help all of us.
If you have an opportunity to speak to Wayne during this campaign time, take the opportunity to talk with him about what your concerns are. You can find him at the Jefferson Market and Store that he owns with his family. He is on the campaign trail, out door-knocking in our communities during the late afternoon and weekends. He is speaking to as many of us as he can, and will spend some time listening to you. He demonstrates an understanding of all the nuances of the housing crisis here, and is ready to address this problem on a town zoning level, planning smart development models, funding and using tax incentives, and acquiring state and federal help.
Our economic engine in LIncoln County needs to be fueled by people who live here, providing services to our residents, and investing in our future. Let’s elect Wayne Farrin to a place of leadership to guide us through. It will be consistent, steady leadership and advocacy at its best.
