Kale staying colorful at Sarah’s
Old New England flowering kale and cabbages along with a few mums are still faring quite well outside of Sarah's Café in Wiscasset. Michael Harkins planted this display in an old sink salvaged from Sarah's family farm in Georgetown. The kale and cabbages became popular in New England because they stayed colorful right into the winter months. GARY DOW/Wiscasset Newspaper
