Signs of the Seasons training programs
The University of Maine Cooperative Extension and Maine Sea Grant will conduct training programs on the Signs of the Seasons Program.
This citizen science training session will be held at the following locations, dates and times: March 22, 10 a.m. to noon, Sheepscot Valley Conservation Association office, 624 Sheepscot Road, Newcastle; and April 5, 9:30 a.m. to noon, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Boothbay.
Trainings are free and open to interested volunteers, though registration is required. Participants will learn about the history and science of phenology, which is the study of seasonal changes in plants and animals.
