The first fall meeting of the Garden Club of Wiscasset was held September 6 at the First Congregational Church of Wiscasset.
The horticultural talk by Esther Leck was on the timely topic of dividing plants. Her talk was followed by our featured speaker, naturalist Wanda Garland, whose topic was Where the Wildflowers Are.
Tea was served following the program.
The next meeting of the club will be Thursday, Oct. 4 at 12:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Wiscasset.
The featured speaker will be Tom Seymour, who will tell us how to forage for useful wild plants and mushrooms.
Guests interested in membership are always welcome to join.
