The Wednesday, March 7 community supper was well attended as we enjoyed a delicious Guinness beef stew prepared by Chef Julie. March birthdays were celebrated after supper with Boston cream cupcakes. Happy Birthday, Janet and Chrissy!

The drawing for tickets to Lincoln Theater was won by Barbara Britton.

Mark your calendars for the next community supper on Wednesday, March 21 at 5 p.m. The entree will be mac and cheese with ham slices and will also feature soup, salad, bread and dessert. Make reservations by noon on Monday, March 19 by calling the Wiscasset Community Center at 882-8230. Chicken is available as an alternative entree but must be specified with the meal reservation.

Hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate and not force a cancellation, but if schools are closed, send students home early or the Wiscasset Community Center is closed due to inclement weather, the scheduled supper will be canceled. Let's hope for the best – Spring will be here soon!

The cribbage scores for Tuesday, March 6 were Sally Sherman first (827), Howard Nickerson second (826), a tie for third with Doc Schilke and Ken Colby (822), Nancy Wright low score (694) and Diane Robinson high hand (24).
