The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 247 calls for service for the period of Dec. 10 to Dec. 17. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 14,662 calls for service.
Summonses
Krista M. Pierce, 46, of Jefferson was issued a summons Dec. 12 for Allowing Dog to be at Large, on Legacy Lane, Jefferson, by Animal Control Officer Allen Oliver.
Dulcie K. Vess, 34, of Edgecomb was issued a summons Dec. 13 for Unlawful Possession of Schedule Drugs, on Route 1, Newcastle, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Arrests
Oliver Palmer, 53, of Bristol was arrested Dec. 10 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Hanna Lane, Bristol, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Kenneth D. Holm, 66, of Whitefield was arrested Dec. 13 for Operating under the Influence, on Mills Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Kasey Doyle.
Samuel W. Howard, 26, of Pittston was arrested Dec. 14 on a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear on a Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer charge, on Route 1, Newcastle, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.
Tucker Lewis, 31, of Boothbay was arrested Dec. 15 for Violating Condition of Release, on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.
Accidents
On Dec. 10, an accident occurred on Bunker Hill Road in Jefferson involving John Allen B. Seger, 23, of Bristol. Mr. Seger was operating his 2023 Toyota RAV4 southbound when he stated a dark colored SUV was approaching northbound in the middle of the road, partially in his lane. (road was only plowed in the middle). Seger stated he moved over to avoid the other vehicle and as a result, he went into the snow covered area and shoulder where he lost control, striking a utility pole. Deputy Jeffrey Rogers was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 10, an accident occurred on Back River Road in Boothbay involving Olivia Q. Warlick, 17, of Woolwich. Ms. Warlick was operating her 2013 Volvo 60 southbound when she lost control of her vehicle, going off the roadway. Deputy Joseph Booth was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 11, an accident occurred on North Clary Road in Jefferson involving Cynthia L. Greene, 55, of Jefferson. Ms. Greene was operating her 2004 Dodge Dakota northbound on the icy and slush covered roadway. As result, her vehicle began skidding and went off the roadway on the right, where she struck several trees. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 11, an accident occurred on Cedar Grove Road in Dresden involving Josiah Quirino, 17, of Dresden. Mr. Quirino was operating his 2009 Nissan Altima northbound when he encountered ice and slush on the roadway and began to slide towards the ditch. Quirino over compensated and proceeded into the skid and down over an embankment, where his vehicle came to rest between a CMP pole and a tree. Deputy Mark Fortin was the investigating officer.
