Boothbay Harbor Windjammer Days 2025 spotlight group: The USCG The Windjammer Days Committee is seeking community input. The Committee has selected the United States Coast Guard as the spotlight group for the 2025 event to be held June 22-28. “The Committee began taking nominations at our meeting this week so there is a small list going already," said WJD committee member Mark Gimbel. "We are looking to gather as many nominees that live in our region or those who were stationed in West Boothbay Harbor.” Nominees can be current or former active duty personnel, or members of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. Tailleux said she has done one dinner already and this Saturday, Nov. 16, there will be a bake sale and, for $15, a spaghetti supper with meatballs, garlic bread, salad and desserts. Coffee, tea, or lemonade is included. Tailleux said while the price is $15, "guests are welcome to donate more for the cause." And she said another dinner is Dec. 6, with chili and chowders, breads, etc. and the same drinks.
