Come Join The Lincoln Home Culinary team! We have an opening for a full-time, year-round cook at Lincoln Home and a part-time cook at Harbor View Cottage, our Memory Care home.
Interested in delivering high quality meals and service to a small group of residents in a beautiful dining room setting overlooking the Damariscotta River? Come to work in a collaborative, assisted-living home environment where we focus on creating and maintaining a healthy, supportive living community for our residents and their families.
We are seeking an individual for the full time position who loves preparing creative and nutritious meals using locally sourced fresh seafood, meats and produce. Prepare meals from scratch and some baking in an energetic and skilled kitchen environment. We offer flexible scheduling, creativity, professionalism, food safety and a team approach, along with recognition and gratitude. Duties also include menu planning, storage of food in refrigerators and freezer, food safety protocols, kitchen safety and sanitation, Serve Safe Training. Shift: Lunch and Dinner 10:30 am – 7:00 pm including every other weekend, coverage for Breakfast and Lunch shift 6:00 am to 2:30 pm as needed.
Prepare home-style, fresh, nutritious meals for up to 12 residents in a beautiful home like environment at Harbor View Cottage. A positive work environment that promotes customer service, interpersonal communication skills while providing healthy food in our fully equipped kitchen. This part-time position entails preparing a small breakfast and lunch menu with pre-prep for dinner. Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm including every other weekend. Great pay and benefits including weekend and shift differentials.
