Case manager Jeff Slack of Care Partners will be the featured presenter at the next Diabetes Support Group on Tuesday, June 11 beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the new Wellness and Rehab Center in the Webster Van Winkle Building on LincolnHealth’s Miles campus in Damariscotta. The program will also be available via Zoom. 

Slack is dedicated to assisting people in finding access to care resources in Lincoln County. In 2023, LincolnHealth’s Access to Care program helped nearly 1,500 individuals, with $1.8 million in prescription assistance, applications for Medicaid, enrollment in Affordable Care Act Health Insurance and understanding Medicare coverage. He will share some tips about these programs at the group and answer questions. 

The Diabetes Support Group meetings are free and open to adults living with diabetes and their families. Pre-registration is recommended due to limited seating and the need to provide a Zoom link prior to the meeting to those who cannot be there in person.
