Beekeepers at Union Fair July 7-10
The Knox Lincoln County Beekeepers (KLCB) is pleased to announce that we will have a booth at the upcoming Union Fair at 1 Fairgrounds Lane, Union, during the agricultural fair days July 7 to 10. Our booth is number BC29 located in Blueberry Commons, which is to your immediate left as you enter the fair grounds. We will have an observation bee hive on display as well as information on becoming a beekeeper, beekeeping books and free information packets. We will also have local raw honey for sale for $15 per one pound jar and free honey tasting.
This a great opportunity to meet local beekeepers and learn more about the art and science of keeping bees healthy and productive. You will have a more beautiful garden, as well as your neighbors’ gardens within a 2 mile radius of your hives. Feel good about building a connection to nature and become more attuned to our changing climate, pesticide usage and natural habitat lose.
Please visit the KLCB website, https://www.klcbee.com/, for more information and look over some of our other events taking place this summer and fall. We believe that honey bees play a vital role in our ecosystem, and that it is our responsibility as beekeepers to protect and nurture them. We are all part of nature and we should be taking care of it. By working together, we can make a difference in our communities and ensure a bright future for honey bees and the people who care for them.
We look forward to seeing you on at the Union Fair July 7 to 10.
