If you are sick and tired of feeling sick and tired in these COVID-19 times, the Boothbay Region YMCA invites all in the community to participate in a free six-week STRONG challenge designed to help transform spirit, mind and body. This free six-week program is being offered in partnership with the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati. They began this program earlier this year, and it had such great success in helping to elevate their community that they wanted to make it national and available to all.

“Now, more than ever before we need to recharge and refocus,” said YMCA of Greater Cincinnati President and CEO Jorge Perez. “The COVID-19 pandemic has worn us down. It’s isolated us in so many ways. This challenge provides an opportunity to get active and healthier by yourself or as a STRONG member.”

This six-week program will feature activities and interactive material with a new theme each week: Week 1 Goals, week 2 Play, week 3 Connect, week 4 Rest, week 5 Serve, week 6 Balance. Over 15 YMCAs across the country will be participating in this program giving you access to a Facebook group with thousands of participants all working towards the same goal: To be strong in body, mind and spirit. The Challenge begins on Monday, Oct. 19.
