Clamshell Quilters will be meeting on Monday, May 13, at Faith Baptist Church, Mills Road, Newcastle. We will get together at 2 p.m. Help with a community service project, or work
on a project of your own. You may bring your own food and drink, especially if staying through the evening's program.

At 5:30 p.m. we will have the voting for the Scrabble letter challenge. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three winners.

Guest speaker, Betty Lu Brydges, a well-established quilter on the national scene, will show 'n tell her beautiful quilts. She will also provide “kits” for appliquéing a heart shaped leaf. If you wish to participate in this how-to-do-it session, you'll need your scissors and some cotton thread.
