The Damariscotta Farmer’s Market has openings in both its Monday and Friday markets for the 2013 market season. The Monday market runs from 3-6 p.m. from June 3 to September 30 and takes place in the parking lot of the Rising Tide Cooperative, 323 Main Street, Damariscotta. The Friday market runs from May 17 to October 25 and takes place on the grounds of the Damariscotta River Association, 110 Belvedere Road, Damariscotta.

These markets provide a great opportunity for Maine farmers and food producers to sell their products to consumers in the Midcoast area. The Monday market is a particularly good venue for new entrepreneurs and first time marketeers to get their feet wet. 

New vendor applications will be reviewed and voted on at the next two market meetings on February 15 and March 15 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Damariscotta River Association.
