Edgecomb Community Church
The Edgecomb Community Church Thrift Store will be reopening Tuesday, April 4, at 9 a.m. After a winter break, the store manager Sue Sikes is making the store ready for customers’ return in April. The hours will again be Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The drop off bin in front of the church is now open for donations. Clean clothing, kitchen items, books, and other small new or gently used products are always welcome. No electronics please. The Little Corner Food Pantry is also available for visitors during these same hours. Most of the proceeds from the thrift store go towards the church’s local mission efforts. The Edgecomb Community Church is located at 5 Cross Point Road just before Edgecomb Green.
Tuesday lunches return
The Edgecomb Community Church is resuming their Tuesday Lunch program on April 4 at noon. The first and third Tuesdays are a time for anyone wishing to enjoy a meal with friends and neighbors to meet at 5 Cross Point Road. The meals are free (donations welcome). This mission outreach program has been offered for over 15 years now and has been well received by many local people as a time for fellowship while enjoying a good meal. The Thrift Store is also open for shopping. The church also offers a Little Corner Food Pantry for those wishing to get needed supplies or donate items for others.
