The Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) will be hosting an Emergency Preparedness Fair in Conjunction with CLC YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day at the Central Lincoln County YMCA on Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. to noon. The YMCA is located at 525 Main St in Damariscotta. The public is invited to attend.

The Emergency Preparedness Fair will provide emergency preparedness information, education, and networking to better prepare residents for any disaster. This is a perfect opportunity to learn about Disaster Preparedness, Self-Resilience, Sustainability, Prepping, and Survival.

Additionally, the Fair will feature a diverse vendor area that includes a mix of government agencies, non-profits, community groups, and private businesses. Some of the vendors you can look forward to include – emergency management, search and rescue, amateur radio, power utilities, disaster volunteering, disaster assistance, and medical preparedness. Each vendor brings a unique perspective and valuable resources to the event.

The Fair will take place at the YMCA, an excellent community facility located in Lincoln County. Presentations and vendors will be located inside the YMCA in the gym.
