Dear Editor:

How is it that money creates greater fear and panic than the high death rate we count daily?

Has everyone forgotten that deaths due to the pandemic virus also are deaths of workers who helped the wealthy gain more wealth?

Has everyone ignored that if deaths are higher with every announcement, while money is lower and lower on the scale of our future as people of worth in a country whose 1787 preamble begins with “By the people and for the people?”

How do we define people in the USA? We seem to acknowledge their value primarily by their working dollars generated to corporations and CEOs.

We seem to forget that working dollars are predominantly generated by living workers. Where is the data on the cost of death? What is the plan for replacements on the next generation of living workers and buyers?

Do we fear death in wars less than death hidden in a virus we can’t see? How do we avoid panic in war, but not with a virus?

If fear is deemed our worse enemy, where does that leave panic? If fear can be stopped with logic, something must stop panic.

While the virus is not mortal, it appears to have an addition that has no warning noise.

In war, we are all mortals and have developed enough knowledge to feel a threat for which words are needed to stop the threat.

We feel panic more when we are unsure. Emotional nerves trigger possible doom and we panic because we feel we have no control or needed words that could gain control.

We remember fear is our enemy, but we do not know the outcome of panic and often feel alone and lacking help for finding the right path to take.

We are fortunate when we remind ourselves that God is with us, so we are never alone.

When we are reminded that we are loved, we stop the panic with deep breathing, so our muscles relax. Panic is stopped when we feel God shows us how our father gave us control over our body’s response and our grateful prayers send words of calm solutions.

There is no doom when we remember love is with us always.
