Finds
It's funny what you find when you're not looking. This applies to photographs as well.
A couple weeks back we needed some parts for the old Kubota. So, off I went to “Tractorville” (Union Farm Equipment), skittering along up Route 220, barely able to keep my car from from lurching off the road at Morse's Sauerkraut, narrowly avoiding a massive lunch!
On my way back, wandering along some of the winsome trails off Route 17, over back roads, eventually leading to Route 218, I happened upon this week's image in Alna.
The winds were whipping across Route 218. Just beyond the Alna Meeting House, up popped a cemetery clustered full with grave stones huddled in awkward rows against an icy hill. It was cold. Sunshine drove through the yard casting hard shadows on the snow and my camera gear was in the back seat underneath tractor parts.
Luck favors the unintentional.
