Healthy Lincoln County will once again be hosting a Good Shepard Food Bank Food Mobile, on Wednesday, July 30, as part of the Summer Food Service Program. It is being co-sponsored by the Congregational Church of Bristol and will be located at the church at 1263 Bristol Road in Bristol.

Caring for Kids and the Congregational Church have partnered with Healthy Lincoln County for the first time this year to participate in a free breakfast and lunch program every Friday this summer at the church. The program is free and open to anyone and includes fun activities, games and nutrition activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Friday.

The Good Shepard Food Mobile is another way that this partnership is looking to provide access to food to the folks of Lincoln County in need. The Food Mobile will be distributing around 7,000 pounds of food including fresh produce, an assortment of meats, and essential non-perishable items, and breads.

Designed to be a barrier-free distribution method the food mobile is open and available to anyone. Please bring boxes and boxes and bags to load your food, if you are unable to bring some there will be some on site the day of distribution.
