Grateful for Skipdompha staff
Dear Editor:
The Board of Directors of the Parent Program of Mid-Coast Maine, Inc. would like to extend their gratitude to Kelsey Gibbs, Matthew Graff and all of their co-workers at the Skidompha Public Library. The members of the Skidompha Public Library helped support our 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization by offering their space to hold our third annual silent auction fundraising event held Sept. 9-21.
PPMM would also like to thank all of the participating businesses, restaurants and artists in Knox and Lincoln counties who donated many items and gift certificates. We would especially like to thank all of the participants who took the time to stop by the library and place a bid on the auction items, which helped make this fundraiser a huge success!
Through the Maine Families Program, we provide free home visiting services through trained Parent Educators for any parent who is pregnant or has a newborn in the Knox, Lincoln and Sagadahoc counties. We offer parenting support, research-based information and fun activities parents can do with their babies to promote optimal development. We are committed to building strong nurturing communities for all families. For more information about our program please feel free to contact us at 832-0343 or go to our website @ https://extension.umaine.edu/parenting/maine-families-knox-lincoln-sagadahoc/parent-program/
We welcome you to join our board and become a member of our Governing Board of Directors or volunteer to help support our fundraising efforts and events.
