Is that the sound of singing?  Have some favorite hymns, carols, or sacred songs to share, or want to explore what worshipful music makes others’ hearts glad?  St. Philip’s Church, 12 Hodge St. in Wiscasset, on Sunday morning, Oct. 21, at 9 a.m. is the place to be.

St. Philip’s is mixing it up a little. In place of the monthly morning prayer service, the congregation led by Jim Swist, organist and choir master, will be celebrating Sunday worship through music.  Swist, a flexible musician, is ready to take the congregation’s requests, so come join in making “a joyful noise.”
