Dear Editor:

I am delighted to write in support of Holly Stover, candidate for state legislature in House District 89 (Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb, South Bristol, Southport, and Westport Island).

It takes all kinds of people to build a healthy community. We need young people, families, and elders all working together to keep our communities vibrant. That won't happen without a little conscious effort ... and that's what Holly Stover has been doing all her life.

Young people need great public education and many paths to success after graduation, as well as affordable housing while they get established. Working families need good schools for their kids, affordable and comprehensive health care coverage, and good jobs that pay fair wages. Elders need supports in place that allow them to age at home while staying involved and connected with their communities.

Holly is on the front lines on all of these issues, providing services and support wherever she can.

We are lucky that Holly is already working so hard for all of us. Now, let's put her in the state legislature so that she can serve our communities even more effectively. Please join me in voting for Holly Stover on Nov. 6th!
