Come and enjoy an old-fashioned fun raiser! That is correct, there is no typo … let's raise the roof and have fun.

With the holiday season upon us, there are numerous events to help us celebrate. One that should not be left off the list is the Snow Ball, sponsored by the Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce. A fun and fitting end to the Holiday Marketfest, the Snow Ball is open to everyone who would like to celebrate the seasonal beauty and joy in the village.

Make plans to join friends and family for hors d'oeuvres and lively dancing with music provided by the Salty Dogs. The Snow Ball will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the recently renovated Waters Edge, on Davis Island, Edgecomb. Holiday attire is requested, but that should not scare you. A crazy holiday sweater may earn you a prize.

Buy tickets at First National Bank, the Chamber office (across from Big Al's), Birch and Moulinette, both on Main Street in Wiscasset.
