Dear Editor:

We all like Stephanie Hawke, what’s not to like about her - after all she is Sarah’s daughter. However liking someone is not the only reason for voting for them.

I think that it’s ironic that Rep. Hawke sends out letters to poll voters in District 89 when a more accurate poll is how we in the District have voted on Referendum Questions. On Question 1, 2, 4, and 5 in 2016 and Question 2 in 2017 a majority voted yes on each in this District. Rep. Hawke voted to nullify or change the outcomes of those and our votes. Is this the person you want to represent you in Augusta? A person who ignores the majority of her own district voters?

I hope you consider this when you step into the ballot box this November.
