LincolnHealth reports 39 new COVID-19 cases for week of April 11
LincolnHealth reported 39 new COVID-19 cases from 386 tests for the week of April 11. Tests and cases are up for the fourth consecutive week and the positivity rate has increased from 3.75% three weeks ago to 10.1%.
“Even with the heightened number of tests and positive cases, we remain far below the numbers during the large surge,” said LincolnHealth’s John Martins.
Martins said the good news is that the hospital is continuing to meet the needs of surgical patients requiring overnight stays and patients awaiting discharge for other care facilities, swing patients, have dropped into the single digits.
