The Morris Farm Trust Board of Directors has hired Kelsey White to be its new Outreach Coordinator. White is an educator and environmental science program coordinator, most recently working at the Suffolk County Farm and Educational Center of the Cornell Cooperative Extension, Suffolk County, (Long Island) N.Y.

On Long Island, she developed and implemented gardening education programs, maintained facilities, managed budgets, planned special events and worked with high school students.

At The Morris Farm, White will be improving PR materials and capabilities and personally reaching out into the our larger community to raise awareness about The Farm and enlisting new members. She also hopes to participate in the Trusts education efforts.

Her position is funded by a grant, landed by Kim Andersson, from the Horizon Foundation. The Morris Farm Trust is an agricultural and educational facility in Wiscasset serving the great Midcoast community.
