New Hampshire photographer displaying work through June
Tall ships, the Irish countryside, dreamy castles and nautical scenes are all being showcased on the walls at Atlantic Motorcar (AMC) until June. Maureen Dittmer, a lifelong photographer and New Hampshire resident demonstrates in her work a crisp serenity in the landscapes of coastal Maine and the Emerald Isle as well as the stately grandeur of three masted ships gathered in Boston Harbor and other seafaring vessels captured along New England’s rocky coastline.
Originally from West Virginia, Maureen comes from a family of talented artists and musicians. Inspired by her grandmother and the families adventures, she began to take photographs as a teenager. At 19 she moved to New England and fell in love with the culture and people of seaport towns. She never left and chose to raise her four children here as well.
AMC is pleased to have Maureen displaying her work here and welcome the public to stop in to peruse her collection. Previous exhibits include Exeter Hospital, Art Tech Innovations and the Deerfield Fair.
Atlantic Motorcar offers art space for artists creating with watercolor, print, acrylic, mixed media and/or print mediums. No commission or hanging fee is charged; the space is donated as a service and enrichment to the local art community and the community at large.
