New Hope For Women offers thanks
Dear Editor:
New Hope for Women would like to express our deepest gratitude to the many businesses, groups and individuals who participated in this year’s holiday family adoption program and helped make it a great success. We appreciate the generosity of these 17 partners who adopted 23 families in need, providing for a Christmas of joy and celebration and demonstrating that there are people in the community who care about them.
This time of year can be a very difficult time for many of our families as they struggle to provide for basic living needs and cope with the stress and anxiety of the holiday season. By alleviating the burden of buying gifts, these families can instead focus on being present for their children and enjoy their time relaxing during the holidays.
We give great thanks to: The Alna General Store, Bank of America, Bean Maine Lobster, Camden Hills Regional High School-Women’s Student Organization, Camden National Bank, Camden Premier Inns, Coastal Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Correct Care Solutions, LincolnHealth Miles Radiation Department, Health Information Management and Surgical Services Departments at Mid Coast Hospital, Pen Bay Medical Center Human Resources Department, Rockland Harbor Hotel, Rockland Savings Bank, TD Bank-Shared Service Strategy and Operational Excellence, Paul Burtchell, Natasha, Ken and Estelle Chase, and Nicole Hunt and family.
