Tony C. McKim, president and CEO of First National Bank and its parent company, The First Bancorp, recently cited several staff promotions. “I am pleased to recognize the hard work and dedication from our staff,” commented Mr. McKim.

Denise Griffin, SPHR, SCP has been promoted to vice president, human resources officer. A graduate of Bowdoin College, Denise joined the bank’s Human Resources Department in 2004. Prior to joining First National Bank, Denise had a long career at UNUM in the disability insurance area.

Terri Geroux has been promoted to vice president, systems and support officer. Terri has been with the Bank since 1982, and she has worked in a variety of positions, both as a customer facing employee and in support departments, including Human Resources and Training; most recently she was the bank’s information systems project manager.

Melissa Bryant has been promoted to assistant vice president, mortgage underwriter. Missy joined the bank’s Mortgage Department in 2011. Before coming to First National Bank, Missy worked in the housing and software industries.

Mr. McKim is also pleased to announce the following promotions at First Advisors, the investment management division of First National Bank.

Matthew Weaver has been promoted to vice president, senior portfolio manager. Matt joined First Advisors in 2000, after working for a Boston area investment firm. In this new position, Matt will coordinate business development for First Advisors in the Knox County and Bangor markets, as well as continuing to service his customers.

Nazrin Dixon has been promoted to vice president, business development officer. In her new role, she will continue to be the point person for business development in the Bangor market and will also assist with business development efforts in other areas, as well as coordinate seminars. Nazrin joined First Advisors in 2013 with the opening of the Bangor office. She has over 8 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Lorraine Ouellette, CEBS has been promoted to vice president, senior administration and compliance officer. Lorraine has been with First Advisors since 2011 and has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Lorraine is located in the Ellsworth office of First Advisors.
