Central Maine Power informed the newspaper this afternoon that it needs to transfer power lines from an old utility pole to a newly installed pole on Union Street near Brady’s restaurant tomorrow morning, April 20, from 7 a.m. to noon so the newspaper office will be closed during that time due to CMP shutting down the power to do the work. Other surrounding businesses and homes will also be effected. The newspaper office expects to be open again shortly after noon tomorrow.
