Rotary Barn sales ending for the year Dec. 17
It’s been a season of unbelievable deals!
The 2022 year of deals at the Rotary Barn is drawing to a close.
The big, grey Barn has been open every Saturday morning since April, offering a cost-effective place to shop for used furniture, tools, housewares, kitchen supplies, indefinable treasures, and so much more. But the crowds have thinned; our hardworking Rotary club members are exhausted, and so: We have only one more Saturday to go before we close for the season.
Saturday, Dec. 17 will be our last day of sales this calendar year. To celebrate, and to thank you for supporting the Barn so generously, we are having a bag sale upstairs in the flea market. Come and select your goodies! Our already low prices are falling even further. Downstairs, no reasonable (or even less-than-reasonable) offer refused for furniture. The stuff has gotta go!
The Barn is located at 66 Montgomery Road in Boothbay Harbor. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and we close promptly at 11 a.m. (Rotary elves can get tired, you know.)
It’s also time to call a seasonal halt to pickups. If your pickup isn’t already scheduled, please hold off until March, when we will be eager to fill the Barn once again. The exact opening day might change depending upon weather, but at this point is tentatively set for the first Saturday in April. Watch this space – or ask a Rotarian – for confirmation as we get closer to that date.
Every dollar Rotary earns through Barn sales comes back to the community through Rotary’s charitable contributions (except for what the state collects in taxes, of course!). We love being able to support the community! And we couldn’t do it without you, our neighbors here in the peninsula, who donate all the good stuff we turn around and sell. We look forward to seeing you deal-shopping on Saturday, Dec. 17 – and again in the spring.
