Seeking Maine artist submissions for 2025 holiday cards
Pine Tree Society is seeking submissions from artists for Maine holiday-themed artwork for its annual holiday card fundraiser. Founded in 1936, Pine Tree Society helps Maine people with disabilities lead active, more socially connected lives. Headquartered in Bath with offices in Scarborough and Auburn, and Pine Tree Camp in Rome; which celebrates its 80th anniversary this year.
“For the first time since 2020, Pine Tree Society’s Holiday Card Competition is back,” said Adria King, Chief Development Officer. “We’re excited to invite artists to submit works to this long-standing annual tradition!”
Since 1969, when Pine Tree Society first began to offer holiday cards, thousands of people throughout Maine, and beyond, purchased these unique cards reproduced from original artwork by local artists. It is one of its most important fundraisers and all proceeds support critical programs and services that help Maine children and adults with disabilities lead active, more socially connected lives.
Pine Tree Society will choose three holiday themed paintings to feature on its 2025 holiday cards. Category 1: Maine coast holiday theme; Category 2: General Maine holiday theme, and category 3: A holiday-themed work created specifically by a Pine Tree Camp camper or Pine Tree Society client.
