ReVision Energy teams with the region’s leading land trust to showcase solar, heat pump and electric vehicle technology at its Route 1 headquarters. Join representatives from Midcoast Conservancy and ReVision Energy on Friday, May 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. for a Solar Celebration at Midcoast Conservancy, 290 U.S. Route 1 in Edgecomb.

Guests can see firsthand how Midcoast Conservancy’s grid-tied solar electric system, when paired with heat pump technology for space heating, is a cost-effective way to reduce fuel usage and lock in long-term energy savings. Current solar technology, power purchase agreements for non-profits, and the state of solar policy in Maine will also be discussed.

Two electric vehicles, a Chevy Bolt and Nissan Leaf, will also be on display.

Guests are also encouraged to come by with questions and their electric bills and can sign up for a free solar site evaluation; refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public, and all are welcome.
