Dear Editor:

We are excited to have this opportunity to endorse Holly Stover’s re-election to the Maine State House of Representatives District 89 this November. Holly has been a crucial factor in Lincoln County’s de-stigmatization of individuals who experience substance use disorders.

She has worked tirelessly with all members of the recovery process: the individuals afflicted, their families, and the agencies that give them support and guidance such as Amistad, ARC, Boothbay Harbor PD, and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.

Her direct and compassionate involvement in improving the healthcare outcomes of all her constituents has made a tremendous difference to many of us in the District 89 region. She has worked hard to make sure that we can receive the healthcare that every human being deserves.

Holly will continue to represent us with diligence and forethought. She will fight for the issues that our children and grandchildren will inherit, including climate change, education, and preserving clean water, making this a better town, a better county, and a better state.
