Dear Editor:

I have been aware for some time of Holly Stover and some of her accomplishments, but didn't really know her until her kick-off party where I realized that Holly is the person to represent me in Augusta. She is a warm and caring person when you hear her speak, and she has been involved her entire life right here in Boothbay, helping to make life better for everyone. She is part of and sits on the boards of many local associations and councils that directly affect all of us on the peninsula: Boothbay Region YMCA, BRCRC Addiction Outreach Program, LincolnHealth Board of Trustees, Boothbay Railway Village, just to name a few.

Just recently I was present when our Senator, Angus King, presented Holly with the 2018 Citizen of the Year award from the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce. This vote came from the very citizens Holly is hoping to represent in Augusta.

Holly will do what is needed to represent and help the voters of the 89th district in Augusta. She has my vote on Nov. 6. What about you?
