Thanking Marketfest volunteers

Thanks to all the community volunteers who worked on Wiscasset Holiday Marketfest! Light Up Wiscasset: Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce volunteers Monique McRae, Brad Sevaldson, Chip Davison, Pat and Russ Cloutier, and Ann Clifford with DJ’s Peter Rines and Jim Smith. Sidewalk greeters: Chris Almasi, Mary Ellen Barnes, Jean Beattie, Linda Harris, Nancy Kennedy, Elizabeth Palmer, Sheila Sawyer, and Chelsea Taylor.
Nickels-Sortwell House floral decorating: Laura Tibbetts/Midcoast Blooms, the Garden Club of Wiscasset, and Water Lily Flowers & Gifts. The Solarium’s tree, honoring the 100th anniversary of Women’s suffrage, was decorated by house manager Peggy Konitzky with help from docents Jane Blanchard and Dan Stevens.
Chelsea Taylor organized Wreaths Around the Holidays. Christine Hopf-Lovette, Judy Flanagan, and Terri Wells took care of signs, participant markers, and raffle. Photographers Bob Bond and Ernie Gallerani documented the weekend. Holiday Tea and Snow Ball organizers were Michelle Peele and Terry Wells. Wiscasset Congregational Church volunteers prepared and served the Holiday Tea.
Holiday Gift Shop designers: Greg Uthoff and Betsy Kyle with staffing volunteers Rick Burns, Lucia Droby, Christine Hopf-Lovette, Kate Buehner, Keith Campagna, Mira Coleman, Dennis Curtis, Linda Mercer, Diane Seiders, Libbey Seigars, Sylvia Tavares, Julie Terray, and Joelle Webber.
And these organizations and businesses contributing in-kind services and goods: Big Al’s Fireworks, Central Maine Pyrotechnics, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Cod Cove Inn, Dunkin Donuts, Forgotten Recipes, Ideal Portable Toilets, Lincoln County Historical Association, McDonalds, Sprague’s Lobster, and the Wiscasset Community Center.
