On Saturday, April 20, Newcastle nonprofit Veggies to Table is excited to be participating once again in Central Lincoln County YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day in Damariscotta. They will be set up from 9 to 11 a.m., with seed packets for you to take home, including sugar snap and snow peas and a variety of beans packaged specifically for kids. These seeds are easy to start and fun for the whole family to watch grow in your garden, or even in a container. Come take a whiff of the first hyacinth bouquets of the season, and enter into their free raffle for the chance to win Veggies to Table merch–including an apron, hat, and tote bag.
