The next monthly meeting of the VIP group (Visually Impaired Persons) will take place on Tuesday, July 2, at 1:15 p.m. in the Community Center located in the Meadow Mall on Townsend Avenue in Boothbay Harbor.

At this meeting the members will have the opportunity to share their joys and concerns regarding visual challenges.  Open discussions may include such topics as the updates from last month's speaker from the Maine Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired; the value of the Talking Books Program; the experiences with the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens adaptive horticultural therapy workshops; helpful hints for daily living. All are welcome, including drivers and caregivers.
