Dear Editor:

This is a critical time in Edgecomb with the upcoming election and town meeting on May 18. Due to the complexities of Edgecomb's present status and the issues coming up, your involvement is crucial to determine the tax base now and in the future. There are many issues that will be presented - the school, the fire department, the harbor master, and ordinance, several marijuana questions and the budget that will be elevated this year due to the present economy.

I urge you to vote Friday and attend town meeting Saturday to share in the reality of today and certainly tomorrow. One of the questions that needs to be addressed is “Where is Edgecomb going in the future?” It is in your hands.
